On Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. the UPH Foundation will hold its first fundraising event and charity auction. Our theme, Drive for Scholarships will be held at Topgolf, which is located at 400 Presto-Sygan Road Bridgeville, PA 15017.
Guests at this event will be able to participate in three hours of Topgolf play, enjoy a BBQ buffet lunch, bid on numerous silent auction items, and have an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for various goods or services. The funds raised at this event will go towards future academic scholarships.

For federal tax purposes: Gifts to The Union Printers Home Foundation are deductible as charitable contributions to the fullest extent permitted by law. In the case of this "Drive For Scholarships" event, the amount that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of any money (and value of property other than money) contributed by the donor over the fair market value of any goods or services provided by the Foundation to the donor. We estimate that the value of the goods or services provided to the donor (golf and BBQ) is $60, meaning that $0 of every $40 ticket may be deductible as a charitable donation. Except for the benefits mentioned above, no other goods or services have been received by the donor in exchange for this contribution.
